My journey through Europe began in 2009. Over nearly two decades, this captivating continent has inspired me at every single turn. I’ve watched it evolve firsthand—returning to the timeless, Gothic spires of Prague over a decade later, hiking the breathtaking cliffs of Cinque Terre before the era of mass crowds, and discovering lesser-traveled gems tucked away in the Balkans and Central Europe.

Europe is a vast, beautiful contradiction. It is the silence of a husky sled gliding through the frozen forests of Finnish Lapland, but also the loud chimes of Big Ben echoing across London. It’s watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle at midnight and visiting a little-known pilgrimage site holding 200,000 crosses on a hill in Lithuania. It’s a continent where you can feel the profound weight of dark, complex history, then easily find pure serenity on the sun-drenched, sapphire shores of the Aegean.

From the Arctic tundra to the volcanic moonscapes of the Greek Isles, my travels have been a dedicated search for the authentic and the extraordinary. Whether you want to sip spiced glühwein at a traditional Christmas market or navigate the historic canals of Amsterdam, Europe offers a different adventure for every traveler.

This curated collection includes some of my favorite memories of Europe—a continent I’ve explored in depth, yet still find a million more reasons to return to. As I continue to visit new spots and return to others, I hope these stories inspire you to look at Europe with a slightly different lens.
