ASIA

Asia can be a sensory overload, but only in the very best ways. I felt it instantly with the unrehearsed choreography of motorbikes flying by me as I crossed a busy street in Vietnam. I tasted it in the just-off-the-boat freshness of sushi before 9:00 AM at the Tokyo fish market. I heard it in the mesmerizing sound of monks chanting before dawn at an ancient, golden temple in Thailand.

Beyond the famous landmarks and bustling megacities, the true heart of Asia lies in its deeply rooted heritage. It is a continent that teaches you spirituality through the sacred ink of a Cambodian Sak Yant tattoo, gratitude through the delicate placement of a daily offering on a Balinese sidewalk, and history through the crumbling, majestic ruins of ancient kingdoms like Sukhothai. From misty mountain rice terraces to lantern-lit alleyways, it challenges your perspectives and rewards your curiosity.

Asia is a vast, enchanting continent that I cannot wait to keep revisiting, with so many more diverse countries left to explore deeply and intentionally. This curated collection captures my favorite memories of Asia—a region I’ve irrevocably fallen in love with. As I continue to explore and add new destinations, I hope these stories inspire you to embrace the beautiful chaos and connect deeply with the rich culture and magic of this incredible region.
